Most interesting meal! Love it! Every dish is very different. Seasoning is perfect. Dessert red bean is a tad too sweet. But otherwise it’s so pretty and nice!

I cannot believe how amazing the food was. Every bite, every piece was beyond delicious and filled with so many different flavours. Also the rice was mind blowing, it was the best I've ever tasted. I had the soy milk skin lunch set. Highly recommend. Lovely staff and quiet environment.

I had a wonderful lunch at Yuba Ryōri Aburagen. The presentation of each dish was elegant and thoughtful — a true reflection of traditional Japanese care and aesthetics. Chanced upon this restaurant. It is very close to the Shinkyo bridge. Was full from breakfast and snacks but I really wanted to have lunch, because Japan. The owner was hospitable and welcoming. My companion and I had a set each. The Yuba dishes were exquisite and delicious. The owner was very kind and offered us a cup of Sakura tea as well. She told us that it’s usually served during ceremonies such as weddings. I would recommend you to make a visit to this place if you’re in Nikko! A good pit stop after visiting the numerous shrines and temples.

One of the best meals I had over 20 days in Japan. Simple but authentic and every item on the tray was delicious. Note that you probably won’t enjoy it if you’re not a fan of traditional Japanese dishes like yuba. My brother had the pork dish (no photo sorry) and it was also delicious. The lady who took our order and brought the food was cheery and sweet, and we were lucky to be the first ones in as soon as it opened. Got a little crowded right after, and rightly so! 100% recommend.

Amazing food. Would fly to Japan and come to Nikko all over again to dine here, lol. Yuba Set especially is a must have. Nice staff as well. The lady very helpful gave us a snow warning for the next day and told us to be careful. Very nice hospitality.
